Phone Consultation
If you're wondering if therapy might be helpful, I hope you will contact me to schedule a brief phone consultation. You can schedule a call by emailing me at andreakirschlpc@proton.me. During the phone consultation, we'll talk about what led you to seek therapy, your appointment availability, and whether you're comfortable with virtual therapy. You will not be pressured to share more about what brought you to therapy than you feel comfortable disclosing.

Intake Appointments
During our intake appointment, I will introduce myself and talk briefly about a few things like confidentiality/informed consent. Next, I will ask if you have been in therapy before, and if so, what did you like about your past experience(s). If you are new to therapy, I will ask if you have any questions about therapy. We'll talk more about what we discussed during your phone consultation/about what inspired you to schedule an intake appointment, and what you're hoping to get out of coming to therapy. We'll likely cover a lot during intake. It's also very likely that I will ask a lot of questions to get to know you (but I never expect anyone to answer a question they don't want to answer or don't feel ready to answer yet). We'll talk about your current circumstances, a bit about your history, and how you hope your life will be like as you engage in your therapy and progress on your therapy goals.

Individual Therapy Sessions
An individual therapy session is a space where you can just be yourself—no pressure, no judgment. Sessions are held virtually, making it easy to connect in a setting that feels safe and familiar to you. I am here to listen, with kindness, understanding, and genuine care, as you talk through whatever’s on your heart and mind. You set the pace, and together we'll make sense of your experiences, work through challenges, and find ways to move forward. It’s a supportive, down-to-earth conversation where you’re heard, accepted, and not alone in what you’re going through.

Completion of forms and documents
Any forms, documentation, or letters you request will be completed as promptly as possible, and may take up to 3–5 business days. This allows time to give each request the care and attention it deserves. If you have a specific deadline, you’re always welcome to let me know, and I’ll do my best to accommodate it whenever possible.
